Today you will visit the world famous Horizontal Falls, a highlight for many visitors the Kimberley.

Your half day trip will either be in the morning or afternoon depending on availability so you will have time to further explore Broome.

You will be collected from and returned to your hotel for your half day adventure. You will travel by seaplane to Talbot Bay where you will enjoy breakfast or lunch on the pontoon before a power boat ride through the falls and around the spectacular bays and creeks.

You will have free time for dinner.

Today you will meet the KOT guides and your fellow travelers. We collect you from your accommodation in Broome and take the highway towards Derby. On the way we will drive through typical boab savannahs, so you will know you are in the Kimberley. We visit the town, including the Prison Boab Tree and the historical jetty before making our way onto the Gibb River Road.

We take a walk through the incredible Bandilngan (Windjana Gorge) with the Lennard River flowing, spotting for flora and fauna along the way. Keep an eye open for freshwater crocodiles.

Continuing onto our accommodation, we settle in for our two night stay.

Today is a day of exploring Dalmanyi (Bell Gorge) in the Wunaamin Miliwundi Conservation Park. We take the opportunity to walk and swim in the magical Kimberley gorge. This is what the Gibb River Road is all about!

An early morning start to continue this adventure as we head to the East Kimberley.

We continue along the Gibb River Road with a walk and a swim at the picturesque Galvans Gorge.

The journey continues over the Kimberley Plateau and crossing two major rivers; The Durack and The Pentecost.

We settle into our accommodation for the night after an adventurous day.

A relaxing soak in the thermal waters of Zebedee Springs is a must of any visit to El Questro so after breakfast we make our way here.

For lunch we visit the main hub of El Questro ‘The Station’ to view the township in its glory.

Wyndham is our next stop with the Five Rivers Lookout and panoramic views of the Cambridge Gulf.

This afternoon we make our way to Kununurra; the largest town in the East Kimberley. Here we visit Ivanhoe Crossing and the Diversion Dam of the Ord River.

We have a two night stay in Kununurra.

Enjoy some free time in town, before taking a scenic boast cruise on the Ord River and viewing Lake Argyle. This ecosystem is home to an abundance of bird life with over 300 species in the Kimberley. You will also spot freshwater crocodiles. We will learn about the history and making of Ord River Irrigation system.

We stop at the Durack Homestead to learn about the history of the family before returning to Kununurra.

Departing Kununurra we make our way to Purnululu National Park, home of the Bungle Bungles. We pass by the indigenous communities of Doon Doon, Warmun and the Carr Boyd Ranges.

Venturing back onto the dirt tracks, we take the windy road over the Osmond Range into the World Heritage Area (Purnululu National Park).

We make our way to Bellburn Airstrip we we enjoy scenic helicopter flights over the Bungle Bungles. Please note for 2026 departures this is an optional extra.

We enjoy our night under the stars with a campfire at our luxury lodge.

Today is spending the majority of our day exploring Purnululu National Park.

We walk into Cathedral Gorge and Piccaninny Creek to view the magnificent striped bee hive domes.

Following the Bungles Massif we head to the northern end of the park to walk and explore Echidna Chasm. This narrow path has walls as close as 1m wide and the sandstone gorge towers as much as 200m above.

Our Bungles adventure comes to an end as we venture out the park and into Halls Creek for the night.

Halls Creek is known as a former Gold Rush Town. We look at the town before driving through cattle country towards Fitzroy Crossing.

We are on the end of the Napier Range where we take an Indigenous Guided Tour of Mimbi Caves. Here we learn about the culture and history of the Gooniyandi people.

Heading to Fitzroy Crossing we take an informative boat cruise through Danggu (Geike Gorge) and Bunuba country.

Tonight we stay at on the banks of Martuwarra (Fitzroy River).

Today we have an early start to complete the loop of our adventure. Before making our way to Broome, our last outback adventure is walking through a large tunnel that has been carved through the limestone of the Napier Range, known as Dimalurru (Tunnel Creek). We learn about the deep history of the area and the tragic story of Jandamarra, a Bunuba man who fought a 3 year long resistance against European colonisers.

Farewelling the gorges, waterfalls, boabs and cattle stations, we take the highway back to Broome where we will drop you at your hotel.
